Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Iron Road application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App. Iron Road LLC ("Iron Road," "we," "us") reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Eligibility — You Must Be a Licensed Rider

You must hold a valid motorcycle operator's license (or endorsement, as required by your jurisdiction) to use Iron Road for ride planning and participation. By using the App, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 18 years of age.
• You are legally licensed to operate a motorcycle in your jurisdiction.
• Your license is current, valid, and not suspended or revoked.
• You will comply with all applicable traffic laws, road rules, and regulations.

Use of the App

Iron Road is a platform for connecting motorcycle riders, planning group rides, sharing photos, and communicating with your crew. The App is a communication and coordination tool only. Iron Road does not organize, supervise, sponsor, or endorse any specific ride, route, or activity. All rides arranged through the App are planned and executed entirely by the users involved.

User Conduct

You agree not to use the App to:

• Organize or encourage illegal activity, reckless riding, or street racing.
• Harass, threaten, or intimidate other users.
• Upload content that is obscene, defamatory, or infringes third-party rights.
• Circumvent or interfere with the App's security or functionality.
• Impersonate another person or entity.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Iron Road LLC, its officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App or any activity arranged through it. In no event shall Iron Road's total liability to you exceed the amount you paid, if any, for use of the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Iron Road LLC and its affiliates from any claim, liability, damage, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your participation in any ride arranged through the App.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration in South Carolina, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.

Our Commitment

Your data is yours. Iron Road collects only what is necessary to make the App work. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party — ever. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why, and how you can control it.

What We Collect

We collect the following categories of data when you use Iron Road:

• Account information — Your email address, display name, and profile details you provide.
• Location data — GPS coordinates when you actively use ride planning, check-in, live location sharing, or breakdown alert features. If you turn on live location sharing during a ride, your position updates periodically and is visible to other riders on that ride until you turn it off. Location is only accessed while the App is in use (foreground). We do not track your location in the background.
• Photos — Images you choose to upload to ride photo feeds. Photos are stored on our servers and visible to your connected crew.
• Usage data — Feature interactions, app crashes, and diagnostic information used to improve the App.
• Device identifiers — Push notification tokens used solely to deliver alerts to your device.

How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively to operate and improve Iron Road:

• To create and maintain your account.
• To show your location to crew members during active rides or when you send a breakdown alert.
• To deliver push notifications for check-ins, alerts, and ride invitations.
• To display your shared photos to connected riders.
• To calculate ride activity for patch and achievement awards.
• To diagnose bugs and improve App stability.

Data Sharing

We share your data only in the following limited circumstances:

• With your crew — Location, check-in status, and photos are shared with riders you are connected with, as directed by you.
• Service providers — We use trusted infrastructure providers (hosting, push notifications) who process data solely on our behalf and under strict data processing agreements.
• Legal requirements — If required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of users or the public.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we permanently delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Anonymized, non-identifiable usage statistics may be retained indefinitely.

How to Delete Your Account

You can delete your Iron Road account at any time. Deleting your account permanently removes:

• Your profile, display name, and account credentials.
• All photos you have uploaded.
• Your ride history, patches, and achievements.
• Your crew connections and associated location history.

• In the App: go to Settings → Account → Delete Account and confirm.
• By email: send a request to support@rideironroad.com from your registered address.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have additional rights including:

• The right to access a copy of the data we hold about you.
• The right to correct inaccurate data.
• The right to data portability.
• The right to object to certain processing.
